I've finally made a blog!!!

To all those people who has bugged me endlessly..
Here..
I have now officially made a blog thought I don't really see the use of a blog..
I've always been against blogs, for to me why let the whole know what you are thinking at that spur of a moment?
Yeah, its nice to share with the whole world your achievements and all that but what use is a blog really?
To anyone out there who is willing to spare me a few minutes to enlighten me of the uses and advantages of a blog.. kindly do so
